ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Pimco Advisors Holdings L.P.: The Newport Beach investment management company said net income for the fourth quarter increased 48% to $35.7 million, or 39 cents per class A unit, from $24.2 million, or 33 cents a unit, for the 1996 fourth quarter. Revenue was up 64% to $172.5 million from $104.9 million. For the year, net income rose 30% to $118.3 million, or $1.45 a unit, from $91.1 million, or $1.29 a unit, for 1996. Revenue advanced 32% to $516.7 million from $392 million.
