Fund-Raiser to Benefit Jewish Groups
The Jewish Federation of Orange County will host a Feb. 8 fund-raiser for nine agencies that help the Jewish community here and abroad.
Proceeds from the phone-a-thon will benefit are B’nai B’rith Youth Organization, Bureau of Jewish Education, Hillel Foundation, Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family Service, Jewish Senior Center, Hebrew Academy, Morasha and Tarbut V’Tora, the latter three being private schools.
A portion of the funds provides rescue and resettlement services and revitalizes Jewish life in Israel and other countries.
Hundreds of volunteers are expected to participate in the phone drive, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Jewish Federation Campus, 250 E. Baker St., Costa Mesa.
