AIDS Foundation Fund-Raiser Saturday
The AIDS Services Foundation will hold Round-Up for Life IV at Orange County Fairgrounds’ Centennial Farm on Saturday.
The event, which raised $160,000 last year for the foundation, is set from 6 to 11 p.m.
Round-Up for Life IV will include a barbecue, live country and western music, dancing, an arcade, drawings and a silent auction.
Auction items will include a trip to New York City with tickets to the “Rosie O’Donnell Show” and a guitar signed by Melissa Etheridge.
Tickets are $75 for general seating; $150, reserved seating; $1,500 and $5,000, patron tables.
The foundation formed in 1985 and today serves more than 850 Orange County residents living with AIDS.
Client services include emergency financial assistance, benefits counseling, emotional-support volunteer programs, mental health counseling, transportation, food, exercise programs, home health care, housing and children’s programs.
