Dedication Ceremony for Park to Be Held Sunday

City officials will host a dedication ceremony Sunday at Christine Emerson Reed Park, formerly Lincoln Park.
The park, which occupies the block between 7th Street and Lincoln Boulevard north of Wilshire Boulevard, was renamed in November to honor the late Reed, who served on the City Council from 1975 to 1990 and was mayor from 1984 to 1986.
The ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. near the corner of 7th Street and California Avenue.
