Bruce Willis and Demi Moore Announce Intention to Divorce

Hollywood power couple Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have decided to end their 11-year marriage, Moore’s publicist said Wednesday. Willis’ publicist confirmed the breakup.
It was her second marriage and his first.
Moore, 35, quit school at 16 to model. She began her acting career when she was 20, as a regular on the soap opera “General Hospital.” A few years later she acted in her first movie, “Choices.” She won acclaim for her role in the surprise hit “Ghost” in 1990, and also starred in “Indecent Proposal,” and “G.I. Jane.”
Willis, 43, attracted the attention of Hollywood when he replaced Ed Harris in the off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard’s “Fool for Love.” He made his television debut in “Moonlighting” and won an Emmy award for outstanding lead actor in 1987.
Willis starred in the “Die Hard” movies and won praise for his role in “Pulp Fiction.” He will appear in the upcoming summer release, “Armageddon.”
