Airline Suspends LAX-Bali Flights

Garuda Indonesia Airlines this weekend suspended its thrice-weekly service between Los Angeles and Bali. Spokeswoman Cheryl Grant, in Los Angeles, said Garuda has been the only commercial airline providing direct LAX-Bali service. Although Los Angeles residents have been booking the flights, fewer Indonesians are traveling due to the decline of their currency, she explained.
