Representatives from Douglas and Emmett, the owners of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, will be on hand to discuss possible changes to the Galleria.

In 1996, plans were drawn for a $30-million expansion but were eventually scrapped when the new owners decided to consider alternatives, including using much of the retail space for offices and possibly adding a movie theater.

Also on tonight’s agenda will be a talk by Uri Herscher, president of the Skirball Cultural Center in the Sepulveda Pass.
