Cortex Pharmaceuticals Inc.: The Irvine developer of drugs for neurological and psychiatric disorders said it lost $1.5 million, or 15 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter ended March 31, compared with a net loss of $1.2 million, or 22 cents a share, for the corresponding period a year ago. Revenue totaled $80,000. No sales were reported for the year-earlier period.

For the nine months, the company posted a net loss of $4.1 million, or 43 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $3.7 million, or 57 cents a share, for the first three quarters of the prior year. Revenue was $130,000.
