* 1993--To cap a rookie-of-the-year season, Piazza hits two mammoth homers on the final day of the season as the Dodgers defeat the San Francisco Giants, 12-1, preventing them from tying the Atlanta Braves for the National League West division title.

* June 6, 1994--Hits a 477-foot grand slam against Mark Gardner of the Florida Marlins, the longest home run hit up to that time at Joe Robbie Stadium.

* Sept. 30, 1995--Hits a two-run home run against San Diego’s Dustin Hermanson, leading the Dodgers to a division-clinching victory.

* May 7, 1995--Hits two home runs (including a grand slam), has six RBIs and scores three runs in a victory over Colorado.

* Aug. 27, 1995--Goes four for four with two home runs, two doubles, three runs and career-high seven RBIs in a victory over Philadelphia.

* June 26, 1995--Hits a game-winning three-run home run against San Diego Padre reliever Trevor Hoffman in the bottom of the ninth inning, breaking a 5-5 tie.

* May 5-7, 1995--In three games at Colorado, Piazza goes 11 for 16 (.688) with seven runs, two doubles, three home runs and 11 RBIs.

* June 29, 1996--Hits three home runs (including a grand slam), and gets six RBIs at Colorado.

* 1996 All-Star game--Goes two for three with a double and a long home run. Named game’s MVP.

* Sept. 21, 1997--Batting against Colorado’s Frank Castillo, becomes only the second player to hit a home run out of Dodger Stadium with his blast over the left-field pavilion.

* Sept. 26, 1997--Hits a 496-foot home run at Coors Field, the longest in the stadium’s history.
