* Players, referees and statisticians are being sought for the Top Gun Flag Football League, which offers five-on-five passing-league competition for adults on teams in Glendale, Baldwin Park, Chino Hills, Garden Grove, Santa Fe Springs and Torrance.

* The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District is accepting registration for its summer adult basketball season. Games, which begin June 15, will be played Monday through Thursday evenings at Freedom Gym in Camarillo. Information: (805) 482-1996.

Both sports offer B,C and D divisions, and are open to ages 16 and up.
