After 23 Years of Play, Slots Pay Her $27 Million

LAS VEGAS — A Las Vegas-area woman who was a casino regular for 23 years hit a record $27.6-million slot jackpot.
The woman, who was not identified, spent $300 gambling at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino before she cashed in on the $27,582,539.48 jackpot Sunday.
She said she plans to share her winnings with her three children and a grandchild, said Michele Masse, a spokesperson for International Game Technology.
She will be paid $1.1 million over 25 years, Masse said.
