Foothill (6-4) vs. Tustin (6-4)
7:30 TONIGHT TUSTIN HIGH
This is a rematch of the season opener, which Foothill won, 35-15. It’s also the second consecutive year the teams have met in the playoffs. Tustin won, 40-19, last season on the way to the Division V title game. Foothill’s Skyler Champion rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns, one on a 69-yard run, in the first meeting this season. Tustin’s Isaac Jones returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown and teammate Branden Malcom rushed 17 times for 101 yards. But the Tillers did not complete a pass, something they will have to do if they want to get by the Knights this time around.
