Noon Scores Seven Goals in Saddleback Win

Junior Daniel Noon scored seven goals to help Saddleback to a 15-13 victory over Buena Park in nonleague boys’ water polo Monday.

Julian Gonzalez, also a junior, had four goals for Saddleback, which improved to 2-0.

Brett Coffman had five goals to lead visiting Buena Park (1-1).

In nonleague girls’ tennis:

Dana Hills 15, Irvine 3--Junior Alison Uhma, playing No. 3 singles, swept her sets, 7-6, 6-2, 6-1. Dana Hills is 3-0.

Troy 17, Valencia 1--Stacey Lee started the romp winning her No. 1 singles’ sets, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. Troy is 3-0.

Tustin 10, Costa Mesa 8--Mariana O’Campo lost only four games as she and Kristy Nguyen swept singles play for the Tillers (1-0).

Woodbridge 15, University 3--No. 1 singles player Susanna Lingman of Woodbridge did not lose a game, as she swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.

In nonleague girls’ volleyball:

Buena Park 3, Bolsa Grande 2--It took five games, but Buena Park pulled it out, 15-13, 13-15, 15-8, 5-15, 19-17. Kerry Jessup had 18 kills to lead the Coyotes (2-0). Debby Bader had 16 kills for Bolsa Grande (1-1).

Santa Ana 3, Los Amigos 1--After losing the first game, 14-16, the Saints came back with 15-5, 15-6, 15-12 victories. Matala Lulaemaga had 16 kills to lead Santa Ana (1-1).
