From Times Wire Reports

A Virginia judge awarded custody of one of two girls switched at birth in a Charlottesville, Va., hospital three years ago to Paula Johnson, who has been raising her. But, ruling in the paternity suit that exposed the switch, Greene County Judge F. W. Somerville refused to order Johnson’s ex-boyfriend to pay child support. DNA tests--which proved the child was not his--confirmed that Callie Johnson and Rebecca Chittum were switched at the hospital in June 1995.
