Litton Adds Japanese Solder Company to Stable
Litton-Westrex Co., a subsidiary of Litton Industries Inc. of Woodland Hills, has purchased Tarutin, a Japanese solder company.
The acquisition of Tarutin gives Litton access to a customer base in Japan, including companies such as Sony, Hitachi, Pioneer, JVC, Calsonic and Toshiba, according to a Litton Industries spokesman.
Litton has a division that manufactures and distributes solder and related materials for electronics manufacturers in the telecommunications, computer, automotive, military, and other industries.
