* Re “Religion vs. Science: Devil Is in the Details,” April 22: The issue is not “are religion and science compatible?” The issue is the perspective from which a scientist begins research. Why do scientists have difficulty realizing that that perspective is a theological matter for the scientist as well as the theologian? Prior centuries thus called theology the “queen of the sciences”!
