Daughter Arrested in Sex Torture Case
Glenda Jean Ray, the daughter of a New Mexico man charged with kidnapping women for sexual torture, was arrested for allegedly helping her father seize and assault a woman in 1996, investigators said. According to the criminal complaint filed in Sierra County magistrate court, Ray, 32, allegedly acted together with her father, David Parker Ray, in kidnapping an unnamed woman in July 1996 and repeatedly assaulting her sexually for four days. The new allegations go beyond the existing case against David Ray, 59, and his girlfriend, Cindy Hendy, 39, who are awaiting trial on charges stemming from the alleged abductions of two women this year.
