The city will kick off its celebration of 10 years as an incorporated city with Saturday’s Niguel Days Parade. About 65 entries are scheduled to appear in the parade, which starts at 10:30 a.m. and will cover about six-tenths of a mile, said Jim Roberts, parade committee chairman. It will begin at the intersection of Nueva Vista Drive and Crown Valley Parkway and will follow Crown Valley to La Plata Drive. Entries include a 1902 horse-drawn carriage, Girl and Boy Scout troops, equestrian units, car clubs and a performance by the Cross Creek Cowboys, an Old West preservationist group.
