Not-Guilty Plea in Murder-for-Hire Case
A Danish American entrepreneur charged in a murder-for-hire scheme pleaded not guilty Friday.
The case against Flemming Larsen, 56, owner of the defunct Danish American Farms markets in North Hills and Simi Valley, was ruled last month to be strong enough to merit a trial.
Larsen is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill the landlord of one of his stores over a dispute regarding back rent and store renovations.
