Man Shot Dead in Canoga Park
A man was shot to death outside an apartment complex in the 8600 block of International Avenue late Saturday night, police said.
The man, whose identity was withheld by police, was shot several times in his upper body, said Officer David Hunt of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire station. Police were summoned to the scene about 10:15 p.m. by several 911 calls made by residents of the apartment building.
The man was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police had a limited description of the suspect, Hunt said.
