Mystery of the Late Author

In Southern California Living you featured a review by Michael Harris of “McNally’s Dilemma” (“In Miami, Comedy Mixes With Clues,” Aug. 17), in which Harris refers to this as a Lawrence Sanders book. Unfortunately, the book was not written by Sanders, as he has been dead since February 1998. On the book’s copyright page it explains who the ghostwriter is. As a fan of the McNally books, I find this to be rather unfair to Sanders and his brilliant writing.
