Toby Keith Will Close Out Crazy Horse’s Santa Ana Run
Oklahoma country singer Toby Keith will play the final concert at the Crazy Horse Steak House’s longtime home in Santa Ana on Dec. 13 in place of Buck Owens.
The Crazy Horse is moving to a larger site in the Irvine Spectrum after 20 years in a business park adjacent to the Costa Mesa Freeway. Owens was slated to play the farewell concert at the old location last month but had to cancel because of illness. A Crazy Horse spokeswoman said Thursday that club officials hope to reschedule the performance by Owens and his band, the Buckaroos, early next year at the new site.
Tickets for Owens’ Nov. 15 date will be honored for Keith’s appearance, may be exchanged for another show, turned in for refunds or held for when Owens is rescheduled, the spokeswoman said. Country-rock band Diamond Rio will open the new Crazy Horse space on New Year’s Eve.
Some tickets are available for Keith’s performances at 6:30 and 9:15 p.m. for $60 to $80. Information: (714) 549-1512.
