32 Times Workers Laid Off in Reorganization
The Los Angeles Times said it laid off 32 employees, including 27 full-time and five part-time employees. The majority of the layoffs was in circulation, though there also were firings in the advertising, finance, human resources and information technology departments, Times spokesman Mike Lange said. “It’s part of an ongoing reorganization,” Lange said. He said some of the work had been eliminated or had been outsourced.
