WESTMINSTER
Businesses with banners that violate city code due to size, location and style, or are displayed without a year 2000 permit will be given a notice and be subject to reinspection fees and/or citations beginning Jan. 1, the city said. The warning issued by the Code Enforcement Department stated that “removing illegal and unsightly banners that create a negative appearance in Westminster is a priority.” Banner guidelines and permits are available at City Hall, 8200 Westminster Blvd. Information: (714) 898-3311, Ext. 256.
