Marina will try to advance at the Claremont girls’ soccer tournament, facing Arcadia at 11 a.m. today in the quarterfinals. If the Vikings, who defeated Alta Loma and tied Redlands in pool play, can get past Arcadia, they will play their semifinal match this afternoon, with the final on Tuesday. Heather Kindschi and Jessie Chase have scored the only two goals for the Vikings (7-2-1) in the tournament.

In the Ocean View tournament, Laguna Hills and Irvine will face off in a semifinal at 2:30 p.m. today at Golden West College. No. 2 Mission Viejo, coming off a victory over top-ranked Santa Margarita, will play Long Beach Poly in the other semifinal.
