No. 2 Santa Ana Beats Saddleback

Carlos Nava scored in the 70th minute to give second-ranked Santa Ana a 2-1 victory over third-ranked Saddleback in Golden West League boys’ soccer Wednesday.

Luis Dias of Santa Ana scored the game’s first goal early in the second half. Saddleback’s Alex Licea tied the score midway through the half.

Eric Morales had six saves for Santa Ana (13-4-4, 6-1-1), which takes the lead in the Golden West League. Saddleback dropped to 17-4-3, 5-2-1.
