Residents have a lot to be happy about, and it shows, said Mayor Tim Keenan in his state of the city address Monday. Results from a recent citizen satisfaction survey showed an overall 94% satisfaction index, he said. Keenan said he and the City Council will continue to serve the community through town hall meetings and outreach programs.

Crime has dropped 15% since 1997, and the Police Department--with 55 sworn officers--has the fullest staff since 1978. In addition, the long-awaited Lincoln Avenue Streetscape project is expected to be completed this summer, Keenan said.
