MISSION VIEJO
Residents are gearing up for the city’s annual Fourth of July Street Faire, which will take place on Olympiad Road between noon and 9 p.m. Sunday.
Organized by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee, the fair includes craft booths, food sales, live bands ranging from swing to country, and strolling entertainment such as a mime and an Uncle Sam stilt-walker.
Admission to the event is free, but tickets will be sold for rides and games catering to both children and adults. The fair culminates at 9 p.m. with a fireworks show. Free parking shuttles will run from 1 to 8 p.m. Shuttle stops are clearly marked in 10 locations around Lake Mission Viejo.
