SANTA ANA
The county Health Care Agency will open a temporary medical facility today to serve the nearly 3,000 residents who had been using two free clinics that closed suddenly last week. The temporary facility will be at Delhi Community Center, 542 E. Central Ave. The facility is expected to be open through the end of the month, as county officials work with several agencies to find a permanent solution, Supervisor Charles V. Smith said.
The bilingual staff will provide aid to Free Health Plan patients who have chronic, urgent care needs, as well as patients who need help locating long-term health care providers.
