Where’s Hoopla as Gas Prices Fall?
* On Tuesday I filled up my tank with unleaded regular gas at $1.12 per gallon.
The price has been in a steady decline for the last several weeks. And this is in the middle of the “summer travel season,” when the oil companies are supposed to be gouging us the most.
Why is it that the letters flow and the politicians push at each other to grab the headlines when the prices go up, but there is nothing but silence when the prices come down?
