Expanded Coverage of Personal Technology

Personal technology--from cyberspace to consumer electronics to personal computing to telecommunications--is transforming our lives in dramatic ways.

Starting Thursday, we will expand our coverage of this fast-changing world by launching a weekly page or pages devoted to news, trends and advice on personal technology.

This coverage, to be called “Cutting Edge: Focus on Personal Technology,” will appear each Thursday in Business.

It will build on our strong technology coverage in Monday’s Cutting Edge section and every day in Business. Monday’s Cutting Edge will continue to cover personal technology, as well as leading-edge technologies and the technology industry. Some columns and features in Monday’s Cutting Edge, such as Gamers’ Corner and Telecom Talk, will move to Thursday.
