Barlow Will Miss Season Because of Injury
Scott Barlow, quarterback from Woodbridge High School, will sit out next season at Weber State because of a knee injury suffered in the Orange County All-Star game Friday.
Barlow tore two ligaments in his left knee as result of being tackled. He will undergo surgery on July 23 and plans to redshirt at Weber State in the fall.
“It was a fluke thing,” Barlow said. “I planted my foot and got ripped down from behind and my cleat didn’t come out of the ground. It really doesn’t look bad when you watch it on video, but it felt a lot worse when it happened.”
Barlow threw for 2,230 yards and 22 touchdowns last season in leading the Warriors to the Southern Section Division VI championship.
