FirstWorld to Buy Irvine’s InteleNet
FirstWorld Communications Inc., a Denver-based Internet and telecommunications company, said Monday it acquired InteleNet Communications Inc., an Irvine provider of Internet and data center services, for about $16 million, less certain debt and deferred revenue, plus 875,000 shares of stock in privately held FirstWorld.
The deal marks FirstWorld’s third California acquisition in the last seven months.
