Villa Park Elementary School is looking to fill five teaching positions. The vacancies are due to retirements last year and the expansion of the school’s class-size reduction program to Grade 3 this fall.
Principal Anne L. Schrader said smaller class sizes in kindergarten through second grade have attracted higher-quality teaching candidates since the school began implementing the statewide program in 1996.
