Kennedys in Pasadena: Eunice Kennedy Shriver and her son Bobby Shriver will appear today at the NBC press tour in Pasadena to discuss “Mary & Jesus,” an upcoming movie on which they are executive producers. However, the network said they would not answer any questions regarding the deaths of John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister, Lauren Bessette. . . . In a separate announcement, the network said “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” will broadcast a week of programs from its Burbank studio in November, marking the first road trip for the New York-based talk show.

Look Who’s Talking: Barbara Walters interviews tennis player Alexandra Stevenson, the daughter of basketball great Julius Erving, tonight at 10 on ABC’s “20/20.” The segment was preempted last week by the newsmagazine’s Kennedy coverage. Meanwhile, Mike Wallace will interview Dr. Wen Ho Lee, the man accused of giving China some of America’s top nuclear secrets, on Sunday’s broadcast of “60 Minutes.”

A ‘Giant’ Preview: “The Making of: The Iron Giant,” a behind-the-scenes look at the Warner Bros. animated film opening next Friday, airs Sunday at 7 p.m. on the WB. Before that, however, director Brad Bird will introduce a 10-minute segment on the film’s Internet site at https://www.theirongiant.com.

Taking a Tour: Cable’s Outdoor Life Network has acquired the broadcast rights to the Tour de France beginning in 2001, outbidding ABC/ESPN, which has carried the cycling event nine of the last 10 races.

The ‘Real’ Deal: According to Variety, Miramax is in discussions to produce Tennessee Williams’ “Camino Real,” which would be its first venture on Broadway. The studio’s participation is a possibility, the trade paper reported, but no final decision has been made. “Camino,” which deals with cruelty and depression, ran from June 23 to July 4 at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts with a cast of Ethan Hawke, Hope Davis and Blair Brown. It first opened on Broadway in 1953 under the direction of Elia Kazan.

Penn Settles Suit: Sean Penn has settled a lawsuit he brought against a lawyer for allegedly taking control of a nightclub in which the actor had invested, the target of Penn’s legal action said Thursday. Penn’s Los Angeles County Superior Court suit against Los Angeles attorney John S. Hilbert sought $130,000 in compensation for the actor’s investment in the Entertainment House and Supper Club on Santa Monica Boulevard, plus punitive damages. Terms of the settlement were kept confidential.

Tracking Marley: Lauryn Hill, Busta Rhymes, Steven Tyler, Erykah Badu and other artists will record tracks for “Bob Marley: A Rebel’s Dream,” an album featuring the reggae legend’s original vocals and music rearranged by his son. Stephen Marley, who will serve as executive producer, will record “Kinky Reggae” for the album, to be released Oct. 26 on Island Def Jam. “To be able to do this with our father’s vocals from the ‘70s,” Stephen Marley said, “it’s spiritual. Like it’s supposed to be.”

Just Rappin’: Rap star ODB was ordered to stand trial under a new law prohibiting felons from wearing bulletproof vests. ODB, whose real name is Russell Tyrone Jones, was then jailed for a bail violation in a separate case. The rapper, 30, was taken into custody Wednesday in court after a representative from the company that guaranteed his $115,000 bail revealed Jones was having problems making payments. Jones is awaiting trial for allegedly threatening security personnel in November at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip.

Stephen Sommers, who wrote and directed “The Mummy” for Universal Pictures, has been signed for the sequel. . . . “Lost in You,” the first video in which Garth Brooks performs as the fictitious pop star named Chris Gaines, will air Monday at 8 p.m. on cable’s VH1. . . . Pop singer Christina Aguilera (“Genie in a Bottle”) will perform on “The 1999 Teen Choice Awards,” airing Aug. 12 on Fox TV. . . . Tony Award winner Lauren Bacall is returning to Broadway in a revival of Noel Coward’s 1906 comedy “Waiting in the Wings.” The play, set in a retirement home for actresses, is scheduled to open on Broadway on Dec. 16. . . . Actress Molly Ringwald wed novelist Valery Lameignere in Bordeaux, France, on Wednesday.
