Information on starting and running Internet and other types of high-tech businesses is scheduled to be the topic of a one-day workshop Sunday in Los Angeles.

Sponsored by Red Herring magazine, a San Francisco-based publication that focuses on the business side of high technology, the workshop is expected to discuss ways to find venture capitalists and secure and keep funding.
