Senior citizens are encouraged to “love” their hearts at the city’s annual Senior Citizen Health Fair on Friday. The free fair, titled “Love Your Heart,” will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Fullerton Multi-Service Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave. Blood chemistry tests will be offered, and will include a listing of 20 blood chemical levels as well as a complete cholesterol level breakdown. Seniors taking the blood test should fast 12 hours before coming to the center.

The fair also will feature stroke screening and information and counseling on nutrition, exercise and cardiac risk. Seniors can get medication evaluations and should bring their prescriptions with them. The fair is co-sponsored by the Fullerton Community Services Department, St. Jude Medical Center and Preventive Health Care for the Aging. Information: (714) 738-6305.
