The Police Department’s Crime Prevention Bureau and the Mall of Orange will host their 11th annual Community Organizations and Public Services Expo this weekend. The Expo is designed to heighten public awareness about crime and prevention, health and safety matters, substance abuse and more. “It’s a really big family event,” said Sherrill Stone, crime prevention specialist.
Highlights include police and fire vehicle displays, bicycle safety, free children’s immunizations and children’s fingerprinting. Admission to the event is free. The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Mall of Orange, 2298 N. Orange Mall. Information: (714) 744-7327.
