Time Warner to Be Honored by VICA
At a dinner Saturday at the Universal Sheraton, the San Fernando Valley Industry and Commerce Assn. will celebrate its 50th anniversary and bestow its corporate award for excellence on Time Warner Communications.
VICA’s Robert E. Gibson Award will be presented to Time Warner at the event, which is expected to draw 500 business people from around the Valley.
Time Warner was selected for leadership and contributions to fiber-optic and digital technologies, its customer service policies and corporate partnerships with community schools, according to VICA Chairman Steve Lew.
VICA was founded in 1949 to encourage economic vitality and growth in the San Fernando Valley region. The group also acts as an advocate for area businesses.
Tickets to the event, which are still available, are $200.
