Julio Iglesias’ Daughter Isabel Hurt in Crash

WESTWOOD — The daughter of singer Julio Iglesias, Isabel “Chabeli” Iglesias, was in the hospital Monday after being involved in a two-car traffic accident Sunday.
Iglesias, 28, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a friend, James Miller, 20. The vehicle rolled over several times and both passengers were ejected, said Lt. Gary Gallinot, spokesman for the Santa Monica Police Department.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
Iglesias and Miller were taken to UCLA Medical Center, where Iglesias, a Spanish-language television celebrity, was treated for bruises and fractures. She was reported in excellent condition Monday, according to publicists Rogers & Cowan. Miller underwent surgery and was in stable condition.
