Capital Pacific Unit Buys Land in Las Vegas

Capital Pacific Holdings Inc.’s Nevada unit acquired 120 acres in North Las Vegas from the United Labor Life Insurance Co. for $9.3 million.
Newport Beach-based Capital Pacific said the property has been approved for subdivision into 574 lots. The real estate investment and development company resold part of the property to home builders Richmond American and American Communities.
