Simulated Oral Sex a Crime, Court Says

From Times Wire Reports

A strip club where two dancers performed simulated oral sex with dollar bills violated state liquor regulations barring lewd acts, Missouri’s Supreme Court ruled in Jefferson City, Mo. The seven-member court unanimously rejected arguments that the meaning of simulated “oral copulation” in the regulation is too vague. The court said the term is commonly understood to mean oral sex. A lower-court judge had ruled that since “oral copulation” does not appear in the dictionary, the regulation was unenforceable. The case stems from a 10-day suspension issued against the Mercedes Club in 1993 after two undercover officers reported the violations at the Springfield establishment.
