ANAHEIM

* North State College Boulevard: Four suspected assailants were being sought in connection with the beating of an Anaheim man and the theft of his wallet, which contained $190; the man was attacked after he walked out of a grocery store in the 1100 block at 5:16 p.m. Sunday.

BREA

* North Tamarack Avenue: Report of a petty theft in the 600 block at 7:26 p.m. Monday.

* South Poplar Avenue at East Birch Street: Police arrested a 27-year-old La Habra man on suspicion of drunk driving at 10:15 p.m Sunday. The man also had a warrant out for his arrest.

BUENA PARK

* Crescent Avenue at Western Avenue: A driver reported at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday that another driver had hit her car and fled the scene.

* La Habra Circle: A homeowner found trash, Vaseline and a threatening note on the front door in the 7700 block at 10:34 a.m. Monday.

* Windwood Pass: A robbery alarm in the 100 block was triggered at 3:20 p.m. Monday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Garden Grove Boulevard: Police arrested a woman on suspicion of disposing syringes and drug paraphernalia before calling authorities to report that her husband had died of a heroin overdose in the 9700 block Tuesday. Police said she voluntarily took officers to where she disposed of the evidence.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Barranca Parkway: Report of a cell phone stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2200 block at 5:10 p.m. Monday.

* Yale Avenue: The lock of the front passenger door of a Toyota was punched in and a backpack containing two wallets and credit cards was stolen in the 14300 block; reported at 10:01 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Bluebird Canyon Drive: A 6-year-old girl who had been reported missing was found just moments later in the 900 block at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A plumbing company reported that six lights had been knocked from the top of an awning in the 1900 block at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday.

* Earhart Road: Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 25000 block at 2:53 p.m. Monday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Avenida Breve: A front bicycle tire was stolen in the 24200 block between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. March 19.

* Moulton Parkway: A man reported that the front window of his business in the 28000 block was smashed and his office ransacked at 10:20 a.m. Saturday.

* Ronda Granada: Deputies were called to a disturbance in the 2000 block at 5:15 p.m. Monday.

LA HABRA

* North Harbor Boulevard: A prowler arrest was made in the 1000 block at 4:06 a.m. Sunday.

* West La Habra Boulevard: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 800 block at 11:10 a.m. Sunday.

LAKE FOREST

* Rimrock Circle: An illegal peddler was reported in the 21000 block at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday.

LA PALMA

* Crescent Street: A caller reported that some people behind a water tower were setting off firecrackers at 10:40 a.m. Monday. Police found six people in the area in possession of a paint-ball gun. A report was filed.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Howard Avenue: A resident reported that vandals had smashed the rear bedroom window of his home near Reagan Street at 7:47 p.m. Monday.

* Los Alisos at Trabuco Road: Deputies investigated an abandoned vehicle at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday.

* Pariso Drive: Deputies got a report of a prowler in the 26000 block at 10:11 p.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Balboa Boulevard: About $780 was stolen from a business in the 700 block sometime Sunday evening.

* Newport Center Drive: A watch, knife and a pager worth $323 were stolen from a locker in the 600 block between 12:50 and 1:40 p.m. Monday.

* Newport Center Drive: A set of keys, a wallet and several items of clothing worth $675 were stolen from a locker in the 600 block between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Monday.

ORANGE

* North Olympia Way: A resident reported a case of malicious mischief and vandalism in the 200 block at 11 a.m. Saturday.

* North Bradford Avenue: Report of petty theft in the 500 block at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday; Valencia High School student said his wallet was stolen from the locker room during his wrestling practice, loss of $106.

* Camino de Estrella: A robbery alarm in the 26000 block was triggered at 5:42 a.m. Sunday.

* Via Arboleda: A robbery alarm in the 26000 block was triggered at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday.

* North Ross Street: A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of attacking another juvenile with a knife in the 1600 block at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

* West Silver Street: A woman was robbed of $14 in the 5500 block at 11 a.m. Monday.

* Montecito Road: Green spray paint was reported on two condominium units at 7:55 p.m. Monday.

STANTON

* Central Avenue: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 8000 block at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* B Street: A resident in the 100 block reported that after a transient was allowed to spend the night, three $50 bills were missing at 10:16 a.m. Monday. The suspect was described as a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 pounds and wearing an olive green jacket.

* Crestview Circle: Report of reckless driving in the 9000 block at 8:56 p.m. Tuesday.

* Barker Circle: Three 16-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of stealing a 1991 Honda Civic from Santa Ana at 10:11 a.m. Tuesday.

* Imperial Highway: Report of a petty theft in the 18000 block at 5:02 p.m. Monday.

* Imperial Highway at Esperanza Road: Police arrested a 24-year-old Anaheim man on suspicion of drunk driving at 2:31 p.m. Monday.
