HUNTINGTON BEACH
Huntington Beach Union High School trustees last week voted to hire two public relations firms to continue the district’s effort to publicize its $165 million in infrastructure needs. The district’s contract with Eileen E. Padberg Consulting runs until June 30 and will not exceed $25,000, plus expenses. Sheldon Communications’ agreement with the district runs through June 30; the amount of that contract will not exceed $15,000, plus expenses. Trustee Michael Simons said the two public relations firms were hired because of their specialized knowledge of the community.
