Police announced the arrest Friday of four young men suspected of robbing and killing a 30-year-old music and jewelry store owner earlier this week.

The men, who are being held without bail, were tracked down after they left fingerprints and other evidence at the scene of the crime Monday, police said. Officers searched the men’s homes and discovered guns and stolen jewelry, the police said.

Three of the suspects were identified as Long Beach residents: Kenny Buckner, 18; Jermaine Parrot, 18 and Ike Carstarphen, 24. The fourth man was identified as Trynun Patterson, 19, of Hawthorne.

Investigators say that the men burst into the Music Collection, a strip mall storefront at 3441 E. Artesia Blvd., and demanded cash and jewelry. During the robbery, the intruders killed the owner, Gary Kim, by shooting him in the head.

After the incident, police attempted to capture the men with bloodhounds. The animals led police to a nearby apartment building, but the suspects got away.
