Schwartz Wins Main at Speedway Racing

Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event in front of 5,508 at the weekly speedway motorcycle program at the Orange County Fairgrounds Saturday in Costa Mesa.

Scott Brant of Riverside finished second in the scratch main, Andy Northrup of Ontario was third, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano was fourth and Gary Hicks of Riverside was fifth.

Hicks won the eight-lap handicap main coming off the 60-yard line.
