Racial Profiling
The experience of Officer Clark W. Baker (letter, May 18) in citing non-minorities for traffic violations does not have anything to do with the number of minorities stopped for traffic violations, which is way out of proportion to the numbers they make up of the total population.
Why don’t we try to do some investigating, as the state of New Jersey is doing on this matter, so we may find if racial profiling is used in stopping motorists for traffic violations.
