AML Gets $2-Million Contract for Amplifiers

AML Communications in Camarillo has received a $2-million purchase order for PCS transmit amplifiers from Transcept Inc., a developer of low-cost wireless voice and data products.

Shipments associated with this contract are expected to begin in January and be completed by the end of next year.

The order is for more than 2,000 single-channel amplifiers.
