GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS
* California Microwave Systems, Woodland Hills, a unit of Northrop Grumman, Century City, won a five-year, $7.4-million contract from the Navy for lightweight tactical automated communications control systems.
* Cadillac Gage Textron, Valencia, won a $471,376 contract from the Army in Rock Island, Ill., for fire control equipment.
* Apex Manufacturing Co., North Hollywood, won a $244,984 contract from Hill Air Force Base in Utah for aircraft components.
