ANAHEIM
Honoring Tim Ewing, a West Anaheim community activist who died several years ago, the mayor, members of the City Council, leaders from West Anaheim, neighbors, family and friends turned out Saturday to plant creeping vines on a wall stretching about 120 feet, where Ewing had organized weekly graffiti paint-outs.
The dedicated wall surrounds the neighborhood where Ewing’s wife and children still live. Steve Swaim, Anaheim’s community services superintendent, said the vines will beautify the wall and help continue Ewing’s fight against graffiti.
